Articular involvement in Henoch-Schönlein Purpura: A review of literature

Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP), the most typical kind of pediatric vasculitis, can also affect adults. Efficacy of drug therapies in antihistamine refractory chronic spontaneous urticaria: Real life data

Omalizumab is a safe and effective treatment for antihistamine-refractory chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) but is insufficient in one-third of patients. For serious cases in which omalizumab is ineffective, cyclosporine or methotrexate may be preferred. Most drug trials in CSU have focused on omalizumab or cyclosporine monotherapy.

A pilot study into bosentan (Tracleer®) as an immunomodulating agent in patients with Behçet’s disease

Behçet’s disease (BD) is an auto-inflammatory vasculitis characterized by aphthous oro-genital ulcers, inflammatory skin changes and uveitis. Treatment is mainly immunosuppressive. Interestingly, elevated endotheline-1 (ET-1) levels suggest a possible beneficial effect of treatment with an ET-1 receptor antagonist.
