Validity and reliability of the Thai version of Food Allergy Quality of Life Questionnaire – Adult Form (FAQLQ-AF) and Food Allergy Independent Measure – Adult Form (FAIM-AF)

Food allergy affects the patient’s quality of life (QoL) and leads to anxiety and depression. In addition to routine treatment, QoL evaluation should also be performed in patients with food allergies. The validated Food Allergy Quality of Life Questionnaire – Adult Form (FAQLQ-AF) and Food Allergy Independent Measure – Adult Form (FAIM-AF) have been well accepted and available in many languages.

Validity and reliability of the Indonesian version of the Chronic Urticaria Quality of Life Questionnaire (CU-Q2oL)

Assessment of quality of life is needed to assess therapeutic response. There is currently no instrument available for assessing the quality of life of chronic urticaria patients in Indonesia. CU-Q2oL is a specific questionnaire for chronic urticaria that was first developed in Italian. Validity and reliability tests are important to ensure that the language or term used are appropriate to the local culture and there is no change in the validity and reliability of the questionnaire.
