Denatonium benzoate promotes IgE-mediated mast celldegranulation and ovalbumin-induced allergic diarrheain BALB/c mice

Denatonium benzoate (DB), one of the most bitter compounds known to man, is used for alcohol denaturation. Some reports have demonstrated that asthmatic symptoms are associated with DB exposure, but the possible links between DB and immunoglobulin E (IgE)-mediated allergy susceptibility have not yet been examined.

Oleuropein attenuates inflammation and regulates immune responses in a 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene-induced atopic dermatitis mouse model

Olive (Olea europaea Linn) leaves contain a phenolic compound oleuropein (Ole) has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory activities. However, whether Ole might be an effective treatment for atopic dermatitis (AD) remains unknown.

Comparison of perennial and preseasonal allergoid immunotherapy in grass pollen allergic patients

The clinical and immunological efficacy of preseasonal allergoid immunotherapy has been previously investigated, however, studies comparing the effectiveness of the two protocols are limited in the literature.
